Discover Scuba Diver Course

Introduction Diving – 2 dives in one day
Not sure if scuba diving is for you? Why not do an introductory dive? We offer the Introduction experience Dicover Scuba Diver Course.
After watching a short video and briefing about scuba diving from one of our experienced instructors will take you out on your first scuba dive where you can see amazing coral and fish life in relatively shallow water! If you enjoy it and think scuba is for you, then you can sign up for the Open Water Diver certification and you will receive credit for the dive

Prerequisites

  • Minimum 10 years of age.
  • Complete a medical questionnaire.

Scuba Diver Course – 2  days

Don’t have the time to spare for a full Open Water course?  Why not relax and take our 2 day Scuba Diver Course.  It has 3 knowledge development sessions, 3 confined water sessions from the shore and 2 open water dives from the boat.
You can easily become a Scuba Diver, which will allow you to dive to 12 metres,  where we have some amazing shallow coral gardens for you to explore.  Once certified, you can continue the journey at any time to complete the remaining 2 knowledge development sessions, 2 confined water dives and the 2 open water dives to become a certified Open Water Diver.  Fantastic!

Prerequisites

  • Minimum 10 years of age. (Online learning requires an extra registration step for students under 13 years due to international internet laws).
  • Complete a medical questionnaire

Open Water Diver Course 3 to 4 days

Become a Open Water Diver in 3 to 4 days.  The course has 5 academic knowledge development sessions with 4 quizzes and a final exam, watermanship skills, 5 confined water sessions from the shore and 4 open water dives from a boat. Our dedicated and highly experienced Instructors will guide you through the course developing your skills and knowledge in a safe but relaxed and fun atmosphere.
On completion of the course you will receive your Open Water Diver certification that will open the underwater world to you!  Junior Open Water divers aged 10 or 11 years old will be able to dive to 12 metres with a parent, guardian or Dive Professional. Junior Open Water Divers and Open Water Divers over 12 years old will be able to dive to 18 metres.

Advanced Open Water Diver Course – 2 days

Already certified as an Open Water Diver?  Why not take the adventure a stage further with our amazing Adventure Diver. 3 knowledge development sessions and 3 dives in 1 day gives you the rating of Adventure Diver.

Do you have an extra day to spare?  In 2 days you can become an Advanced  Diver with a total of 5 open water dives and 5 knowledge development sessions. With 2 core dives, navigation and deep, you can choose 3 more dives from a host of specialty dives including Underwater Photography, Boat Diving, Naturalist, Wreck Diving, Drift Diving, Fish Identification and many more!

As a Junior Open Water Diver aged 12-14, you can dive to 21 metres; as an Open Water Diver aged 15 or above, you can dive to 30 metres.  Awesome!

Prerequisites

  • Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organisation).
  • Minimum age 10 to become a Junior Adventure Diver
  • The minimum age is 12 to become a Junior Advanced  Diver
  • A minimum age 15 to become an Advanced Diver

Emergency First Response Course (First Aid & CPR)  1 day

The Emergency Responder course can be conducted as a stand-alone course, or conducted concurrently with the Rescue course.   In a relaxed classroom atmosphere, our experienced instructors will teach you CPR together with primary and secondary care, in order to know how to handle a medical emergency and care for a patient.
Prerequisites
  • For Emergency Responder :  no minimum age

Rescue Diver Course – 2 to 3 days

Learn the skills you need to become a more confident diver with the Rescue course. Probably the most informative and fun course for the recreational diver, you will hone your own self rescue skills and learn how to assist another diver in distress, what to do in emergency situations and how to prevent emergencies from happening.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum 12 years of age.
  • Have an Advanced Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization).
  • Be trained and current for first aid and CPR within the previous two years (Ask your instructor about Emergency Responder (CPR and first aid courses).

Divemaster Course

Prerequisites

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • be an Advanced Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
  • A Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
  • An Emergency Responder – Primary and Secondary Care (or qualifying first aid and CPR training from another organization) course completion within the past 24 months.
  • Have at least 40 dives to begin the course and 60 for certification.
  • Be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.

Specialty Courses


Enriched Air Course (Nitrox) :  2 dives

Extend your time underwater by becoming an  Enriched Air Nitrox Diver with this Speciality Course. Your experienced Instructor will take you through some knowledge development sessions, conduct a short exam and then take you on 2 open water dives by boat. Depending on your current diver level, this Speciality can count towards your Advanced Course, or your Master Diver rating


We can run many Speciality Courses to help you achieve that highest recreational scuba diver rating of Master Diver, once you have completed Rescue, 5 Specialties and have 50 logged dives.
